Tubular steel quay cranes assembled at West India Dock for removal to appropriate berths by the PLA heavy lift crane London Mammoth. In 1964, the PLA operated 583 quay cranes, 224 mobile cranes and 6 floating cranes, including London Mammoth, constantly in service since 1928.
